Constantine Was Not God Sent!

Different to what some Christians and Pastors think, Constantine was No Friend to Christianity. He was a “wicked” Roman Emperor and I don’t mean good. Roman Emperors of that Day were into Self-Worship and “Worship from the People” and Constantine was no exception.

Christians had a lot of Power and Acceptance from the people at that time of the Early Church and even after that, persecution did not even stop their numbers growing because they met in each-other’s houses – they prayed and worshipped and sang together, they shared each-other’s interests and even practical gifts when needed.

Constantine said “I’ve got to stop that!” (so to speak) and sought for a way to WEAKEN CHRISTIANS and CHRISTIANITY…….so he came up with the ideal fix for that……..he (so-called) accepted Christianity and made it a STATE INSTITUTION (seemingly giving them favor). THAT’S WHEN they gathered in Buildings INSTEAD OF HOUSES and the Power of the Church waned because relationships weren’t as strong, their worship was no longer Intimate and Spontaneous. We still have that problem to this Day!

IT IS MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS – and evident in Scriptures – THAT OUR CREATOR GOD WANTED TO HAVE A FAMILY WITH THOSE HE MADE IN HIS IMAGE. HE HAD A PURPOSE NOT REALISED BY MANY. THREE TIMES SINCE CREATION WE SEE THIS. THE FIRST TIME, WE SEE THIS WHEN HE WALKED IN THE GARDEN WITH ADAM AND EVE; THE SECOND TIME, WHEN THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL WORSHIPPED HIM AND PRAYED IN THEIR HOUSES TOGETHER (The Levites actually visited their homes. Big Gatherings were only on their Feast Days where they all rejoiced together); THE THIRD TIME, WITH THE EARLY CHURCH. (Believers actually gathered together as Families and Friends in their Houses, not in buildings as is commonly taught. That started three centuries later, not of His making).

SO THREE TIMES THE ENEMY (of God and Mankind) WRECKED IT (with his subtle beguiling influence) BECAUSE ADAM and EVE USED TO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM (enjoying His Presence) EVERYDAY IN THE COOL OF THE EVENING; LATER, THE LEVITES CHANGED THE FAMILY WORSHIP IN THEIR HOUSES and FESTIVE GATHERINGS TO BUILDINGS (for their convenience, it was not God commissioned) AND CONSTANTINE (in 330AD) WAS NO FRIEND OF CHRISTIANITY AS MANY SUPPOSE (He was a wicked Roman Emperor with an Agenda, to change the way Early Believers did things, for political advantage). HENCE, THAT WAS NOT GOD COMMISSIONED! THIS IS ALSO EVIDENT IN THE FACT THAT ONCE THE CHURCH BECAME A STATE INSTITUTION, IT QUICKLY WANED IN POWER (The Sovereignty and Moving of the Holy Spirit was replaced by Man-Made Hierarchy; Structured Services; Man-Made Rules and Regulations) AND THAT PROBLEM HAS EXISTED TO THE PRESENT DAY CHURCH (The Body of Christ). 

SO AS YOU CAN SEE, THE LORD HAS HAD HIS DISAPPOINTMENTS. THE RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS MUST TAKE PLACE – FOR HIM AND US HIS CHILDREN – ONE FAMILY – BEFORE OUR MUCH AWAITED SAVIOR RETURNS!

We need to ditch the Constantine Model and Return to the New Testament Pattern, not just talk about the Early Christians. This will really strengthen Believers and make everyone feel loved.

Because Then We Will Be The Father’s FAMILY In Reality, The Vision Of Jesus when “For The JOY That Was Set Before Him (that’s us) He Endured The Cross.”

That  friends, is not Social Gospel
