I will give you some background Info and Insight on Calvinistic Beliefs which commenced with a Theologian named John Calvin in the 16th Century at the time of the Protestant Reformation. So first I will do that and also share some really good content from a Brother in that Faith who doesn’t go along with Everything Calvin taught and why, that is very helpful and why. Then I will get right into some good Counsel for You and why you should Avoid it because there is a number of Calvinist Preachers on YouTube who preach some Really Good AND Bad Sermons on YouTube which can be Confusing, Upsetting and Damaging. And if you are a Calvinist, you will find a Challenge to your Beliefs here (some of them) OK? To the Reckless I say “you don’t know the damage you do” and Others are being Traumatised about some of your Family Members because you have placed so much Trust in that man’s Beliefs which are not as Scriptural as you have been Led to believe. So relax and read on.
Are You a Chosen One?
Are you familiar with Calvinist doctrine? At its heart is the concept of predestination. Calvinists believe that, at the beginning of time, God selected a limited number of souls to grant Salvation and there’s nothing any individual person can do during this life to Alter their Eternal Fate. Either you were Chosen or you were Not Chosen, and that’s all there is to it. Can you think how damaging that is?
Now, you might think that a person who subscribed to this doctrine would see no point in trying to live a Righteous, Sin-Free Life. In fact, though, the opposite was true. For, although no amount of righteous, Sin-Free Living can change God’s mind about you, the surest indicator that you are not among the Chosen is Sinful Living. Do Calvinists believe that Anyone Else can be Saved?
Calvinists believe that Salvation is solely determined by God’s Sovereign Election, meaning only those Predestined (the “Elect”) before the Foundation of the World will be Saved, rather than anyone being able to choose Salvation on their own. This doctrine, rooted in TULIP, holds that humanity is Too Sinful to Seek God, and therefore, God must Irresistibly Call the Chosen Few. Which of-course isn’t true. It’s Outrageous!
- Election & Limited Atonement: God chooses individuals for Salvation without regard to their future Actions or Faith. Calvinism generally teaches that Christ died Specifically for this Predetermined Group, not for everyone.
- Irresistible Grace: Those whom God has Elected cannot resist His call to Salvation and will eventually be brought to Faith.
- “The Elect” Only: Because all humanity deserves Condemnation, those not Elected are not Saved.
It is not a matter of “Anyone” being able to Accept the Offer, but only those whom God enables.
- Assurance: Those who are truly Saved are guaranteed to stay Saved (Perseverance of the Saints).
- The “Well-Meant Offer”: While holding to Strict Predestination, many Calvinists believe that the Gospel should be preached to all, and some acknowledge a tension between God’s secret decree of Election and His revealed desire for all to hear the Gospel.
In summary, Calvinists do not believe that “Anyone” can be Saved in the sense of an Opportunity based on Human Choice; they believe only a Pre-Selected Elect will be Saved through God’s Grace alone.
Calvinists generally believe that anyone who has True Faith in Jesus Christ is Saved, regardless of whether they identify as a Calvinist or agree with specific Calvinist doctrines. In their view, Salvation is not earned by having perfectly accurate theology; it is a Gift given by God to those He has chosen. At-least they believe that – thank goodness!
Calvinists insist that only those who are Elect before the Foundations of the World will be Saved. The Choice to receive Christ or not, based on a Provision of Salvation for All, is not the determining factor, rather it is God’s Will and Election that counts.
Luther acknowledges that man does have a Capacity for Responding to God’s Grace which other creatures do not and elsewhere he can explain why God Elects this man and not that by saying: “This difference is to be ascribed to man, Not to the Will of God, for the Promises of God are Open to All. He desires for Each Man and Woman to be Saved. Hence it is Not the Fault of our Lord God, who Promises Salvation, but it is Our Fault if we are Not Willing to Believe”.
Now that’s Rightly dividing His Words of Truth in Scripture. Calvin read a lot of Stuff into it and we’re told not to do that for a very good reason. For instance, it’s alright to write our own personal paraphrases and Notes on Scripture for our Personal Devotions when the Holy Spirit is speaking to our hearts and Inspiring Us, but to do something like Changing the Intentions of God in Scripture and spreading Religious Dogma, is definitely OUT with me – always has been.
For me, it has always been what Jesus said to Us “FOLLOW ME”………. Nothing Else and No-One Else has Swayed me from the First. Not Ever. My Commitment is to Jesus and my Allegiance is to Him 100% not half for some Christian Sect or Theologian’s Teachings (right or wrong) I refuse to let my Beliefs be Determined within the Confines of Anyone’s Belief System.
That’s what Calvinism Is and Christadelphians and Revivalists and Pentecostals and Even Baptists – Every Christian Sect or Movement out there likes to tell you what you should Believe and Conform to and makes our Spirit Less Sensitive to what His Role in our Hearts and Lives Is and what He has to Say to Us Personally aka if the Holy Spirit says “Such and Such” to Us, our mind says “I have a problem with that” because of someone’s Belief System you Follow and Their Dictates.
Count Me Out – I’ve always Reserved my Spiritual Ears for JESUS and the Holy Spirit (that’s Sacred Ground) Jesus can speak directly to me AND the Holy Spirit is perfectly Capable of Leading and Guiding me through the Scriptures. That’s His Place to do so.
Why do Christians sell themselves so cheap to Belief Structures? They all place Limitations and Constraints on You, and they’re often mistaken. And the Sad thing is, Jesus never Called us to that – He wishes Us to Relate with Him First Hand Personally (No Mediator)
The thing is, if you prayerfully Read the Scriptures often enough He WILL Teach You. But you need to Desire that. This is what Proverbs 3 & 4 Encourages and Instructs us to do. The Lord’s Invitation to take us under His Wing and Personally Teach Us what He has in mind for Our Lives and Callings – furnishing Our Hearts with His Gracious Wisdom.
Can you see in those Proverbs, this is a very Close Intimate Walk with Him, He is Calling Us to. And it was no different with JESUS in the Gospels when He said “FOLLOW ME” (not a Preacher or Teacher, not a Christian Movement and not a Set Theology or Confines of Anyone’s Mind) Jesus is Calling You into a More Personal Relationship with Him than you realise. He Calls you to an “Audience of One” where “Two is Company, Three is a Crowd”……… in other words, No Mediator between You. Jesus went on to say.
Getting back to where we were in this Article, Scripture Says “He (Jesus) Tasted Death (in our place) for Every Man” NOT SOME. His Death and Resurrection was a Redemptive Work for ALL those who Accept and Embrace this Wonderful Gift of Love – He was so Passionate about this, Scripture says “For the JOY that was Set Before Him, He Endured the Cross” because He could See Us the other side (Experiencing this Wonderful Salvation) Does that sound like a BIG MISERLY GOD with a Mean Streak to You that is portrayed in Calvin’s Totally Unfair Interpretation of God’s Word?
NO, far from it. Sounds more like a Sinister Religious Demon Corrupting Calvin’s thoughts, to me because people trust Theologians and those Spiteful Religious Demons see them as a means of Spreading Harmful Myths – often Devasting. And this is Clearly what has happened here.
Because Calvinism Preaching is gaining more ground again in Christianity in recent times, I felt Compelled to immediately put Everything Aside, to Research and Write about it when something unmistakably came to my Attention from the Holy Spirit I had not expected.
I have to get Word out to You about it without delay. I consider this So Serious and must be stopped in it’s tracks, at-least for those who Read my Websites. And the Holy Spirit has been very much with me in this over these last 48 Hours. This is SERIOUS in the Heart of God Almighty, what Damage this Man’s Bent Theology is Doing to Believers and People alike, Worldwide. Some Valuable Insights from a Calvinist Man
who does not Accept Everything Calvin had to Say!
Here is Why God Can’t Hate Any Man or Unborn Child.
First God is Good and Infinitely so. This means He desires Good for All Creatures or He is not Good at all.
Strictly speaking as a Calvinist, I depart from Calvin on this Point of Theology. I consider it Calvin’s point of weakness and failure. So do many others who deeply identify with Calvinistic Theology and who are otherwise comfortable being Calvinists.
For God so Loved the World that He Gave His One and only Son, that Whoever Believes in Him shall Not Perish but shall Have Eternal Life. (NIV John 3:16)
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants ALL people to be Saved and to Come to a Knowledge of the Truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and Mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who Gave Himself as a Ransom for ALL People. (1 Timothy 2:3-6)
Just to show not every Calvinist sided with Calvin on this point, but rather was more along the lines of Luther, here is another famous Calvinist.
Why does God hate any man? I defy anyone to give any answer but this, because that man really deserves it; no reply but that can ever be true. There are some who answer, Divine Sovereignty; but I challenge them to look that Teaching in the face. Do you believe that God created man Arbitrarily and Sovereignly—it is the same thing—created that man, with no other intention, than that of damning him? Made him, and yet for no other reason than that of destroying him Forever? Well, if you can believe that, I pity you, that is all I can say: you deserve pity, that you should think so meanly of God, whose Mercy Endures Forever! (A Sermon (No. 241) January 16th, 1859, by the REV. C. H. Spurgeon)
So does God hate an unborn child, as in wishing them harm? Of-Course God alone
could NEVER as He LOVES all Unborn Children with Infinite Love.
WELL SAID Brother, we should Never let a Man be our Mediator (in what’s right and what’s wrong) when it comes to TRUTH in God’s Word concerning True Gospel. Religious Leaders of Christian Cults ALWAYS read stuff into Scripture that just ISN’T THERE and have been INFLUENCED by Demons – to sow Doubts, Discord, Confusion and Strife, Unbelief and Insecurity, when Scripture itself declares “He is not the Author of Confusion but the God of PEACE”
So PROVISION is definitely made for WHOSOEVER COMES – God is Not being Selective Here, saying Some are Predestined (Chosen) for Eternal Life and Others are Determined for Damnation (Rejected) and have No Say in the matter (Denied the privilege of Coming to the Saviour) like Calvin said. That’s Monstrous! What a Mean and Nasty, Unfeeling, Unkind Merciless God he projects. So Callous!
How WICKED of him to Assume and Promote that – only a Demon would Introduce, Promote and Enforce such an Idea. Because Demons are Oppressive and Very Destructive in all manner of things believed in Various Christian Cults we see in these Endtimes………..”Doctrines of Devils” the Apostle Paul Clearly Warns Us about. Make no mistake about it, Calvin was Out of Line with the Expressed Will and Intention of God declared and purposed in Scripture.
The Calvanist Brother Continues his Case:
Jesus Loved Everyone, and Jesus was God.
God commanded us Not to Show Partiality, that is to Favor one man Over Another, because God does not show Partiality, that is He does not Love one Person More than Another. (1 Timothy 5:21)
In reality, I do not think this idea of God only loving the Elect rises more than a Meaningless Philosophical Conjecture. A human being can’t really believe God hates people without having an emotional breakdown. There is a difference between Philosophical Conjectures and Real Beliefs even when they are strenuously defended. Calvin over speculated this way and even a favorite Theologian argued this way in the 1700s.
My fellow Calvinists may accuse me of being Non-Calvinistic and shocked at my fully supporting God’s Boundless Love for all men, but I say just because I am a Calvinist does not mean I follow Every Single Thought and Conjecture of Calvin as though he was a God or something. God forbid that I would deny God’s love, no matter Who speculated against it. What I believe is Absolute Eternal Election of those to Salvation and those to Hell, yet at the same time believe in God’s Love for Humanity is Sadly Mistaken and I think it is Unbiblical to Deny that He Loves All those He Created. Unfathomable.
Luther had a more mature view about predestination than Calvin did, simply put. Calvin was less humble in my view and could not resist being a precocious school boy and speculating too far. Luther was more humble and knew when not to speculate.
Here is Luther’s typical attitude about that:
He [Martin Luther] spoke at length about the idle people who occupy themselves with disputation about Predestination beyond the Limits of Scripture. It is most Ungodly and Dangerous business to Abandon the Certain and Revealed Will of God in order to search into the hidden mysteries of God. (Luther’s Works Vol 54, P249)

But wait a minute, I’ve been researching Calvinism further and found out they reckon that God has Ordained all the Good AND Evil in the World (created all the Good and Bad things that People Think and Do) which makes it a Terrible Devilish Religion and the SLANDER about GOD is Really Shocking. When you think about that, it’s an Absolute Sacrilege to believe such things – an Atrocity that can Mess with your Brain (the more you find out about their beliefs) Unimaginable. And just to think that Calvinists are taught to believe Everyone is Totally Depraved and Incapable of Good, actually denotes Depravity in that Religion itself.

There is ONE Person alone declared in Scripture to be a Son of Perdition, and that was Judas who purposefully Betrayed Jesus into the hands of Sinful Men (the Romans) NOT a whole bunch of Innocent Unborn People (forbidding them any Entrance into Eternal Life because He has Rejected them) Can you see the SINISTER Nature of the Devil at play here rather than God’s? Maligning: an interesting word here:
The Holy Spirit just Led me to add in the above paragraph. I have heard this word 2 or 3 times in my lifetime, never used it before, so is not in my vocabulary. Sometimes He interrupts me or Instructs me to use words when writing, I’ve never used before – sometimes even a word I have never heard and when I look these words up, they are Spot On – so I’ve learnt to not stop and question those when He gives them to me but keep on Writing and learn more about them later. He knows I like to learn certain words and am keen to search well for their meanings.
So shall we follow this Word up and see Exactly what HIS Sentiments are? Let’s do that – going there now to expound on that. Here it is!
Maligning: to speak Harmful Untruths about; to Speak Evil of; to Slander and Defame. to Malign an Honorable Person – in this case God – to say False and Unpleasant Things about someone. Offensive. It’s a form of Defamation. Thank You Holy Spirit, there’s no-one’s Leading like Yours when I’m Writing. See what I mean? He is a Good Teacher, and He stands right beside Us. Why do you follow a Doctrine, isn’t He Sufficient for You?
So are you Sure you wish to Engage and Persist with that? Someone’s teaching who Maligns the Character and Intentions of a Holy God you Claim to Follow? If you are a Calvinist or not, at some point of time, you Chose to Follow Jesus. As for what I’ve learned about Calvinism these last 48 Hours……Not Me, count me out. I wish to always Praise and Glorify His Name and Believe the BEST in His Nature.
There’s a Scriptural Principle that says “Let Him be TRUE and every Man a Liar” Hence we have seen it is Not in God’s Best Interest to Present Him that way (Calvin’s deceptive Theology) that has Messed Up so many dear People, and has traumatised Believers about Family Members. Terrible.
When you think about it, what an Evil Little Man to Inject Doubts into the Hearts and Minds of Innocent People and Believers. Devil’s Work, not God’s. It just goes to show how Unhealthy his Mind was. You only have to look at this man’s Total Depravity theory about people being Incapable of doing Anything Good.
In reality, that in itself should give you warning signals. It’s a breeding ground for False Gospel.
I consider the Apostle Paul knew more what he was speaking about in Rom 2:14-16
14 Some people naturally obey the Law’s commands, even though they don’t have the Law. 15 This proves that the conscience is like a Law written in the human heart. And it will show whether we are forgiven or condemned, 16 when God appoints Jesus Christ to judge everyone’s secret thoughts, just as my message says. (CEV Translation)
And in the RSV Translation, Paul says in Verse 16 “On that Day, when according to My Gospel , God judges the Secrets of Men by Christ Jesus”
So much for Calvin’s Total Depravity Theory. Sounds sickly depressing like the Plymouth Brethren Sect who threaten and badger people on street corners, telling them they are such Bad Sinners, and some of those may be perfectly Nice people.
Can you see the possibility that Calvin’s Mindsets are not really Healthy? That’s my thoughts about the guy. I think he spent far too much time Indoors, possibly in the one dimly lit room – seldom in touch with Nature and pleasant interactions with people. That’s the “Feel” I get about his Doctrines.
I think it would have been better to keep them to himself if that was the way he “wanted” to think – but not to spread and Infect Others with his Internal Belief System. We read on this Page how our Calvinist Brother feels that Luther and Spurgeon had a much better Grasp of Scripture – they were more Mature in their Faith and Well-Balanced.
Mark these words well Friends: We do Not have to follow the Steps of Unhealthy Men or Women. And that is what EVERY False Gospel Is. Pay them No Attention and don’t give them Any Time of Day or evening. When you come across a Source of Confusion that is calling itself the Gospel – and it’s disturbing – Flee from it. Don’t entertain it – pay them No Heed. RUN before you get Engulfed with it. Thousands of people are Steeped in them once convinced. Don’t let that be You. It’s best to keep your distance. OK?
We would ALL do Well to HEED Paul’s Instructions to Timothy, to Rightly DIVIDE THE Word of Truth.
Instead of following a Man’s Gospel Message/Beliefs Structure, we should be FOLLOWING JESUS and HIM ONLY. Jesus still speaks these Words Today “FOLLOW ME”………….
”He who Listens to MY WORDS and DOES THEM is the one who LOVES ME” So one Instruction I will leave with you here: Stop Grieving The Lord by Promoting a Man’s Mixed-Up Gospel OR placing yourself in a position whereby you are Grieved with such.
It is not good to Believe Evil – it’s very Unhealthy for us (body, soul and spirit) Yes, it can even weigh your Health down……it is so far from the Will of God.
Come Out from all that and Listen to the Voice of Jesus “He/She who Hears MY WORDS and Does Them shall be FREE Indeed!” Lay that burden down and your Doubts to Rest.
