Have you been upset by teaching called The Message?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They are followers of a ‘prophet’ William Branham who often<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

refer to themselves as ‘Bible Believers’.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Branham made some\u00a0\u00a0outrageous claims<\/u>\u00a0 that his followers \u00a0believe without question<\/strong><\/p>\n

because they have been taught to believe their prophet\u00a0\u00a0could not say or do<\/u>\u00a0 anything wrong. Even to the extent that his words are placed on \u00a0equal footing to the Bible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They claim that their prophet was “Elijah come again”, a misquote of Scripture<\/p>\n

because\u00a0The Lord Himself said<\/strong>\u00a0that “Elijah has already come and they did not<\/p>\n

recognize him” (Mt 17:12) in reference to\u00a0\u00a0John the Baptist<\/u>.\u00a0 Message Believers would have you believe John the Baptist came again as William Marion Branham.<\/p>\n

This Christian cult seeks mostly to ‘convert’ Christians to their way of believing, that is to change your allegiance from\u00a0Christ Alone<\/strong>\u00a0to Branham if possible. That depends on you, my friend, on how strong\u00a0your allegiance<\/strong>\u00a0to JESUS is and if you are easily persuaded. Even though they claim to be ‘Bible Believers”, most of them don’t really know their Bible really well – they’re accustomed to hearing WMBs taped sermons – referred to as the Spoken Word –\u00a0over and over to the point of brainwashing<\/strong>, not too dissimilar to Islam and Communism. So you are dealing with a\u00a0\u00a0strong delusion<\/u>\u00a0 here – anyone who is deluded by anything in this world, has\u00a0\u00a0an inability\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0to see anything but that which takes up their mental real-estate. Sad to say, there is no reason to be found with them. I really feel for family members, I also am one.<\/p>\n

It is right to inform you\u00a0that some<\/strong>\u00a0Message Believers\u00a0are trained<\/u>\u00a0how to counter any arguments (reasoning) with\u00a0misuse<\/u>\u00a0of certain verses of Scripture,\u00a0just like JWs<\/strong>\u00a0(Jehovah’s Witnesses) do. And just like JWs,\u00a0they choose to<\/strong>\u00a0tackle you on\u00a0their ground<\/u>\u00a0instead of yours! They keep\u00a0defaulting<\/u>\u00a0to theirs!<\/p>\n

Both these groups of people are\u00a0highly skilled<\/strong>\u00a0in defending their doctrines, to a landslide, if you are not careful. If you are caught off guard, they know how to back you into a corner with certain statements and questions that are designed to find a chink in your armor if you are not skilled for such events.<\/p>\n

It has been well established that William Branham,\u00a0like Joseph Smith<\/strong>\u00a0(who started the Mormons)\u00a0and Mohamed<\/strong>\u00a0who started Islam (Muslims) sought for truth and found a LIE. Each one of them spoke evil things about the CHURCH (Body of Christ) and claimed to be GOD’s VOICE to us.<\/p>\n

Branham said he was a\u00a0\u00a0Major Prophet<\/u>\u00a0 to the Church and End-Time.<\/p>\n

Our Bible speaks of two dispensations – Old Testament, where God governed His people through Major Prophets (in the Bible) and New Testament, where JESUS is the PROPHET, PRIEST and KING to\u00a0ALL<\/u>\u00a0BELIEVERS.<\/p>\n

HE ALONE has the NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES and is THE HEAD OF ALL RULE AND AUTHORITY and is OVER\u00a0ALL<\/u>\u00a0THINGS PERTAINING TO THE CHURCH.<\/p>\n

So excuse me, Branham was no more commissioned to run the CHURCH than Constantine or the Popes!<\/p>\n

In fact, it was prophesied 3x before his death that God was going to take him out. One of those prophetic words said “because he is destroying My Church!” He brought so much\u00a0division and confusion<\/strong>\u00a0– the Apostle Paul said in Scripture to “mark those who cause division and strife among you” and he also said that “The Lord is not a God of confusion but a\u00a0God of Peace<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Friends, the Holy Scripture says to “LOVE THE LORD WITH\u00a0ALL<\/u>\u00a0YOUR HEART AND\u00a0ALL<\/u>\u00a0YOUR MIND AND\u00a0ALL<\/u>\u00a0YOUR WILL”. How can you do this with\u00a0divided affections<\/strong>? Most Message Believers I have encountered over 40+ years, speak with more affection for their prophet than they do for The Lord – sorry to say that but they do.<\/p>\n

A family member and myself attended a service for a loved one recently who has just gone to The Lord. They even brought up the name William Branham at the service that\u00a0was held in the honor of our loved one<\/strong>\u00a0to celebrate her life. Two people (separately) approached the family member who attended with me, with the words “have you heard of William Branham?”, when we’re in grieving. And another one went to impose his religious persuasion on me over the phone a week later, to the point that his words were out of control, when I stated gently but firmly, that my allegiance is to Christ, so I did not want to discuss it. He was so obsessed with his intentions that he continued to persuade me, even against my loved one’s wishes when I said that “she did not force feed her beliefs on anyone.” He did not even stop in respect to her memory.<\/p>\n

I had to opt out of that phone call\u00a0literally\u00a0<\/strong>and he called\u00a0me<\/u>\u00a0rude in a text afterwards.<\/p>\n

Really? Yes!<\/p>\n

Even though I know my ground and did not enter into discussion, he kept calling me out to play, and it really did not mix with grieving at all. Some weeks later, I feel to caution my readers, not to engage in discussions that will end up upsetting you – these well meaning people are known for causing distress to those around them, especially family members who do not share their belief structure. Do be informed.<\/p>\n

A few things for you to Consider:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Old Testament offices of priests\u00a0and prophets<\/u>\u00a0were\u00a0forever changed at Calvary when Jesus Christ said,\u00a0\u201cIt is finished\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(John 19:30). No longer would priests offer sacrifices for the sins of the people.\u00a0No longer would prophets stand in the gap for God’s people.<\/strong>\u00a0No longer would God lead his people by the hands of the prophets, or speak to his people as\u00a0\u201cin time past.”\u00a0<\/em>The apostle Paul said,\u00a0\u201cGod, who at certain times and in various manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,\u00a0Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(Heb. 1:1,2).<\/p>\n

In fact JESUS distinctly says in Scripture
\n“The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it.” Luke 16:16<\/p>\n

So there are No More\u00a0Major<\/u>\u00a0Prophets!<\/p>\n

Jesus opened up a whole New Dispensation and New Covenant with us<\/p>\n

when He shed His precious Blood and Rose Again.<\/p>\n

The apostle John said,\u00a0\u201cThese things I\u00a0have\u00a0written to you concerning them that seduce you.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0But the anointing which you have received of Him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you:\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(I John 2:26,27).\u00a0Jesus said,\u00a0\u201cIt is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(John 6:45).\u00a0\u201cAnd they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

(Heb. 8:11).\u00a0Jesus said that when\u00a0\u201cthe Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth:\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(John 16:13).\u00a0All believers are now\u00a0\u201ckings and priests unto God\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Rev. 1:6). This is the New Testament priesthood of all believers. The apostle Peter said that\u00a0\u201cyou are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(I Peter 2:9).<\/p>\n

In 1928,\u00a0Evangelist Donald Gee said,<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cA careful study of the New Testament will reveal that the Early Church NEVER placed utterances through their prophets on a level with the Scriptures. Note carefully the distinctive phrase used in 2 Peter 1:21 to describe the latter\u2014\u2018prophecy of the Scripture.\u2019 See again the decision of Acts 15:28, where the difficulty was NOT solved by reference to the accredited prophets present (Barnabas, Judas, Silas, etc.), but by reference to the Old Testament Scriptures.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(Montanism<\/em>, Donald Gee, 1928)<\/p>\n

Many of William Branham’s teachings revealed his\u00a0delusional thinking<\/u>. Branham taught that the Holy Bible (KJV) had errors and that God was giving him (Branham) the \u201ccorrect\u201d interpretation (the Bible calls this\u00a0\u201cprivate interpretation<\/u>\u201d<\/em><\/strong>2 Peter 1:20). What better way to\u00a0deceive people<\/strong>\u00a0than to tell them that they don’t really have the\u00a0pure words of the Lord\u00a0<\/strong>in our English preserved Bible.\u00a0(Ps.12:6; Prov. 30:5).<\/p>\n

A common characteristic<\/u>\u00a0among ALL cults and deceivers and false religions is to explicitly or subtly move authority\u00a0away from<\/u>\u00a0the Bible to another source\u00a0<\/strong>(a man, a vision, a confirmation in the heart or some book)\u00a0in order to supersede the authority of the Holy Bible<\/strong>. From Genesis 3:1 in the garden of Eden where the serpent said,\u00a0\u201cHas\u00a0God said . . ?\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0present day cults<\/strong>\u00a0whose leader’s words overrule the written word of God, Satan’s methods of deception \u2013\u00a0to cast doubts on the Scriptures<\/u>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0have not changed<\/strong>. Notice that when the serpent first deceived man the temptation was not to be evil but to be good, to\u00a0\u201cbe as gods<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

(Gen. 3:1-5). This is why almost all cult leaders and false prophets have a deity complex,<\/p>\n

to\u00a0\u201cbe as gods\u201d<\/em>, to be\u00a0\u201clike the most High\u201d<\/em>, to be\u00a0reverenced and feared<\/u>\u00a0by their followers<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Isa. 14:14; 3 John 1:9).<\/p>\n

William Branham believed that he was God’s \u201cmouthpiece\u201d and that God was using him in much the same way as the Old Testament prophets. However, the \u201cmouthpiece of God\u201d theology was not original to Branham.\u00a0<\/strong>Joseph Smith, who founded the Mormon church in 1830, claimed repeated \u201crevelations\u201d from God.<\/u>\u00a0Smith’s newly formed church was given a \u201crevelation\u201d from God to accept his [Smith’s]\u00a0). But even Joseph Smith was not the originator of this myth,\u00a0as other cult leaders, before and after Joseph Smith<\/u>,\u00a0claimed this divine authority<\/strong>. William Branham said,\u00a0\u201cNow, I’m just your brother, by the grace of God. But when the Angel of The Lord moves down, it becomes then a Voice of God to you…..\u00a0But I am God’s Voice to you<\/u>….. Now, see, I can say nothing in myself. But what He shows me.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(William Branham, Footprints <\/em>On The Sands Of Time<\/em>, p. 214).<\/p>\n

The infallibility of prophets in the Early Church is strictly denied\u00a0<\/strong>(I Cor. 14:20). Does this emaciate our conception of the nature of Spiritual Gifts so as to make them of no more worth than ordinary natural endowments? Not in the least. They are still supernatural. They remain to this day the Divine-appointed manifestation of the Holy Spirit in and through the Church (see I Cor. 12:7-11).\u00a0They have their basis in a genuine inspiration, but that inspiration is\u00a0not<\/u>\u00a0on a level with the inspiration of the Scriptures.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>(Montanism, Donald Gee<\/em>, 1928).<\/p>\n

\u201cHave I\u00a0not\u00a0written to you Excellent things in Counsel and Knowledge, that I might make you to know the\u00a0Certainty of the Words of Truth<\/u>; that you may answer the words of truth to those who send to you?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Proverbs 22:20,21)
\n\u201cEvery word of God is pure: He is a shield to them who put their trust in Him. Add not to His Words, lest he reprove you, and you are found to be a liar.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(Proverbs 30:5,6)<\/p>\n

William Branham’s teachings directly contradicted much of\u00a0\u201cthat which is written\u201d<\/em>\u00a0in the\u00a0\u201choly scriptures\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(I Cor. 4:6; II Tim. 3:15). Branham said,\u00a0\u201cI saw seven angels in the form of a pyramid that swept down, picked me up and was brought east to open the seven seals of God\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Commissioned by Seven Mighty Angels<\/em>).\u00a0But in contrast to Branham’s teachings the apostle John said,\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cAnd I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice,\u00a0Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?\u00a0<\/strong>And\u00a0no man in Heaven, or in Earth<\/u>, neither under the Earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because\u00a0no man was found worthy<\/strong>\u00a0to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Rev. 5:1-4).<\/p>\n

Verses five and nine tells us that\u00a0The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one<\/strong>\u00a0who is\u00a0\u201cworthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0William Branham<\/u><\/strong>, and also the\u00a0Branch Davidians<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

and the\u00a0Heaven’s Gate\u00a0<\/strong>cult\u00a0all believed<\/strong>\u00a0that they were chosen by God to\u00a0\u201copen the seven seals<\/em><\/u>\u201d<\/em>. Their teachings,\u00a0which contradict<\/strong>\u00a0the Holy Bible, were ALL\u00a0from the same source \u2013 the father of lies<\/strong>\u00a0(John 8:44).<\/p>\n

And other false doctrine being propagated by modern-day \u2018seers\u2019 and \u2018prophets\u2019 referred to as \u201cthe close of the Gentile Times\u201d<\/strong>. As far as God \u201cclosing the door of grace\u201d to the world, the Bible assured us\u00a0\u201cthat whosoever shall call on the Name of The Lord shall be Saved\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and Jesus Himself assured us saying\u00a0\u201cI am with you always, even unto the end of the world.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Acts 2:21; Matt. 28:20).\u00a0The \u201cclose of the Gentile Times\u201d is not a new idea or new \u201crevelation\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

it is a false doctrine that\u00a0various cults<\/u>\u00a0like the Jehovah’s Witness organization and others have been teaching for over a hundred years<\/strong>\u00a0(God’s Kingdom of a Thousand Years Has Approached<\/em>, Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, 1973, p. 330).<\/p>\n

Two things you must consider here, our Bible distinctly says that there is<\/p>\n

“ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN<\/p>\n

and that is JESUS”<\/p>\n

BECAUSE HE IS THE SON OF GOD and THE SON OF MAN.<\/p>\n

HEAR ye HIM, so you are never swayed by “Winds of Doctrines”<\/p>\n

Are we called to PROCLAIM THE LORD or a ‘Prophet?’<\/p>\n

You must Decide!<\/p>\n

Where\u2019s Your Allegiance?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Those with religious mania know\u00a0no reason<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

to forsake their leader would have to be treason.<\/p>\n

They twist the scriptures to their end,<\/p>\n

I subscribe\u00a0to Jesus<\/strong>\u00a0the Friend of Friends.<\/p>\n

To discuss things with them, there is\u00a0no gain<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

it will cause you pain time and again.<\/p>\n

Just seek\u00a0to stay<\/strong>\u00a0on solid ground,<\/p>\n

Jesus\u2019 Words alone are the\u00a0Best<\/strong>\u00a0to be found.<\/p>\n

I will not stoop to their discourse on life,<\/p>\n

I wish to stay out of conjecture\u00a0and strife<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

My ears\u00a0are strictly<\/strong>\u00a0for the King of Kings,<\/p>\n

He is my Prophet, Priest and King<\/u>.<\/p>\n

I ascribe to Him Praise, the Ancient of Days,<\/p>\n

so cease your mania and look again.<\/p>\n

To the One who died for us,<\/p>\n

do not harass and fuss.<\/p>\n

You are<\/u>\u00a0out of line and ignorant of Time,<\/p>\n

God trusted\u00a0only Jesus<\/strong>\u00a0for His Church and End-Time.<\/p>\n

Is\u00a0not Salvation<\/strong>\u00a0important to you<\/p>\n

who forsake\u00a0His Truth<\/u>\u00a0in the name of truth?<\/p>\n

I will not forsake His Truth for a Lie,<\/p>\n

Jesus is my life<\/strong>\u00a0to the day when I die.<\/p>\n

Those without restraint\u00a0always find<\/u>\u00a0complaint<\/p>\n

with our Freedom in Jesus who came to\u00a0Redeem<\/strong>\u00a0us.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s never enough for them, they seek to confuse,<\/p>\n

Delusion is subtle, let this\u00a0not<\/u>\u00a0 be you.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to please them, you\u00a0never will<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

Just Him<\/u>\u00a0who gave\u00a0His Life<\/strong>\u00a0for You on Calvary\u2019s Hill.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0alone<\/strong>\u00a0has the Keys to my heart<\/p>\n

my\u00a0full allegiance<\/u>, I will\u00a0never<\/strong>\u00a0part.<\/p>\n

It was always Jesus right from the start.<\/p>\n
